Trekventurer Support and Safety

Trekventurer puts safety at the top of the list of priorities on all treks and expeditions.

Our leaders are from the both the UK and expert guides from the trekking region. They all have good level of first aid and wilderness medical training.

Our experience of the region, of trekking, and of managing groups puts in a strong position on our expeditions. Leadership is, of course, key to trekking. Although it is up to you to physically and mentally get yourself up and down the mountain, the trek leaders are there to encourage, support and reassure you.

In cases of emergency we have crisis management plans in place for each trek and a 24 hour emergency contact in the UK.

In four years of expeditions we have had no serious injuries or accidents. We also have a very high success rate of people reaching the targeted peaks.

It is essential that each Trekventurer takes out comprehensive insurance before departure.
